Kristin Anderson, RN

Hello! My name is Kristin and I’m excited to join Kestrel as a registered nurse. I have specialty certifications in maternal and neonatal health. I divide my time between Salt Lake City, Utah; Brattleboro, Vermont and Cuenca, Ecuador.

Over a long career in nursing, I have worked in obstetrics, pediatrics, general medicine, and population health. I love helping others take an active role in their well-being through education and health promotion. I also work in global health serving as project coordinator, clinical educator, and medical translator for a variety of international medical collaborations throughout Latin America. I have a passion for building health care capacity in low resource settings, putting positive change in practice from the Ecuadorian Amazon to the Nicaraguan highlands.

I’m currently completing my Master’s in Nursing at Southern New Hampshire University and will continue on to become a family nurse practitioner. I have worked in hospital, clinic, and academic settings in the United States and abroad.

When not working, I love being in mountains, exploring new places, doing yoga and spending time with my family.
