No one likes getting sick or getting an injury before race day…

Kestrel in partnership with SaltCycle-Kestrel Wellness is starting acute care coverage for motivated and active racers.

Benefits:

• A “Get to know you” visit is required to get baseline health records and paperwork
• Complimentary urgent care, which would prevent a racer from the race day or training
  • For example, viral illness, nausea and vomiting, mild laceration repair, sinus infections, allergies, sprains, bumps and bruises etc
• Racers can text, video, or see in person for basic medical advice
• Does not include chronic care, wellness visits, or chronic prescription management

Requirements:

• Signed paperwork before the urgent care is delivered.
• The “get to know you” visit
• Race in a SaltCycle-Kestrel Wellness Jersey
  • 10 times for crits / cross / week night mtb races
  • 5 weekend road / gravel / long distance mtb races
• Participating and engaging in races, team events, meetings, socials, camps, and clinics at least once a month including through the off season.
• Willing to help with marketing and/or education. Examples:
  • Allow Dr. Rick to do a video interview
  • Attendance at various marketing events
  • Educational events of other Kestrel Members
  • Social media about the team and/or clinical experience
• Professional behavior (Like don’t be a total jerk during races)

The SaltCycle sponsorship deal has two levels.

40% off for racers

20% off for all club members

The discount applies to each family member in the immediate family.

The enrollment fee is also discounted to only $50 per person for the first two people with a max of $100 per family.
